Objective

Biotechnology is a branch of science which combines biology and technology to obtain useful information from biological organisms using technology.
This program has been designed to provide students with a learning and understanding of subjects like Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Chemistry, Immunology and Bio-statistics, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics as well as developing opportunities for graduate study in most fields of modern science.

Duration of Course

This Honours course is a full time three years (six semesters) Bachelor’s Degree in Biotechnology.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have passed the higher secondary , 10+2 or equivalent of any recognised Board or Council in Science with (Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics) with atleast 45% marks.
